Emily Dickinson
‘Because I could not stop for Death – He kindly stopped for me’ One of the great American writers, Emily Dickinson was barely known in her own lifetime. At her death, her sister discovered nearly 1,800 poems in her desk, gathered in hand-sewn pamphlets. Their power and originality have entranced generations of readers.
We will take a few and look at life – and death – through the eyes of this reclusive genius.
This is a free event, but please book a ticket as places are limited.
